This HDMI adapter with plug to socket injects 5 V into the cable and improves the power supply of the connection. At longer HDMI distances from 5 m, the source's 5 V may be insufficient, which can lead to picture disturbances up to outages. The additional power supply via USB supports clean picture transmission to the receiver.
