Further information for Idencom 350000 - BioKey ® enrollment station
The concept
- The concept of IDENCOM open enrollment station is extracting the fingerprint information from the sensor images and then storing this information in a memory card (smart cards). This stored on the card information is then used for verification applications to PC-independent terminals. The open enrollment station currently supports four different smart card systems:
Legic Identification Media
- The fingerprint information is stored on Legic IM, which has a capacity of 1 KB. A strict security policy is integrated so that changes to the information stored on the card can only be performed by authorized personnel.
Philips Mifare IC
- The fingerprint information is stored on Philips Mifare standard ICs with a capacity of 1 KB. The data stored on this card are protected by Verschüsselungen enabling the security of the data.
German Telekom TeleSec
- DT NetKey cards are the only non-contactless smart cards that are supported by the IDENCOM open enrollment station.
Texas Instruments RFid
- The TI Tag-It RFid media are fully ISO / IEC 15693. The open enrollment station supports the storage of a super template on these smart cards that have a capacity of 256 bytes.
