An integrated automatic oiler ensures the cutting rollers operate at peak performance at all times. The induction-hardened solid steel cutting rollers can handle paper, staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs, DVDs, USB drives, and floppy disks.

Smart jam prevention detects overloads in advance and either reverses or briefly boosts power to maintain flow. The system also features automatic start/stop via sensor, a pressure-sensitive safety element, and a window to monitor bin fill level.
