The 7980g can be easily integrated into existing cash register systems. Thanks to the various integrated interfaces, the 7980g is compatible with most cash register systems and can be installed in no time thanks to the automatic interface detection. The versatile USB additional port, which forms the communication interface, can be used, for example: B. connect a practical hand-held scanner. Equipped with Honeywell's Adaptus 6.0 image capture technology, the device offers exceptional reading performance for 1D and 2D barcodes and can also easily read smartphone displays, digital wallets and printed ID cards. Thanks to the omnidirectional scanning function, coupled with a high depth of field and state-of-the-art decoding software, cashiers can capture almost any barcode error-free on the first attempt without having to worry about the orientation or print quality of the barcodes.
If you foresee that you will work with 2D codes at a later date but do not currently need this function, the 7980g is also available as an omnidirectional 1D scanner, which can be inexpensively upgraded to a full 2D area imager at any time leaves.
