Mersen Protistor fuse links 690/700V for semiconductor protection allow for a wide range of flexibility in use to protect modern power converter devices. This is a super-fast series that is capable of protecting power semiconductors such as diodes, thyristors and IGBT components. Protistor fuse links in various sizes and numerous rated currents enable the greatest possible device adaptation. The fuses contain fusible elements embedded in sand to ensure very good overall switch-off integrals (I2t) and high switching capacity. The contact surfaces are silver-plated and all components are non-magnetic. All fuses in this series have a function indicator that, in addition to its visual display function, can also be used to remotely report the fuse function using an additional microswitch.
