Further information for Faber Kabel A-2Y(L)2Y 300X2X0,6
Application:
All outdoor cables are generally approved for use in all operating facilities. For restrictions for mine workers, see DIN VDE 0118 Part 1 to Part 3. Cables with an external PE sheath are not permitted for fire or explosion-hazardous operating facilities without adequate protective measures.
All designs are not approved for high-voltage installation purposes. Cables with an insulating sheath and sheath made of polyethylene in bundle stranding according to DIN VDE 0816 Part 1 contain star
quads and are mainly used for low frequency, only in the trunk and preferably unwound. They are used, for example, as local connection cables, as station telecommunications cables and in industrial plants. PE-insulated cables may contain cores with an insulating sheath perforated at regular intervals for insulation monitoring.
