Further information for Eltako FDG14 - RS485 bus gateway Dali 30 014 047

DALI gateway, bidirectional. Standby loss only 1 watt. Modular device for mounting on DIN-EN 60715 TH35 mounting rail. 2 division units = 36mm wide, 58mm deep. Connection to the Eltako RS485 bus. Cross-wiring only bus with jumper. Operation in conjunction with FAM14. Supply voltage 230V at terminals N and L. 16V DC/130mA is provided at the DALI+/- terminals for up to 64 DALI devices. The FDG14 gateway is used to control DALI devices with EnOcean radio transmitters via the FAM14. Groups 0-15 can be controlled and the broadcast command can also be sent. DALI scenes 0-15 can also be controlled. DALI installations that are to be completely controlled with the FDG14 must therefore be configured in groups 0-15. The FDG14 internally stores the dimming value for each of the groups 0-15 and provides this value as feedback. The same feedback telegrams are generated as with a FUD14. The FDG14 occupies 16 BR14 device addresses. The feedback from the device addresses corresponds in ascending order to the dimming values of the DALI groups 0-15. The feedback can be switched individually for each group using PCT14 from dimming value telegram (%) to button telegram (on/off). This means that BR14 actuators can be controlled using the feedback. The FDG14 fulfills the function of the DALI master and the DALI power supply. Only buttons for groups 0-8 and DALI scenes 0-9 can be taught in using the rotary switches. Control telegrams for groups 9-15 and scenes 10-15 are only possible through entries in PCT14. From production week 30/19, the FDG14 can be used as a single-channel FDG14-Broadcast device. This is determined when the device address is assigned. Important: Radio buttons always require a double click when manually teaching them into the FDG14! With CLR, a single click is sufficient. A direction button or universal button with the same ID and the same button cannot be taught into different groups multiple times. The last group selected always applies. A button can therefore switch either just one group or all groups with broadcast. One underfloor heating can also be taught in per group. When taught in manually, this always works regardless of the brightness. The brightness threshold can also be set with PCT14. For the underfloor heating of all groups, the delay time for switching off after no movement can be set together in minutes (1..60). The default is 3 minutes.
