DRAGINO LWL02-EU868 LoRaWAN Water Leak Sensor
Overview
The Dragino LWL02 is a LoRaWAN water sensor. If there is water between the two metal probes, the LWL02 will indicate a water leak and send an uplink to the IoT server via the LoRaWAN network.
The LWL02 is powered by 2 x AAA batteries and is designed for long-term operation. These two batteries can deliver approximately 16,000~70,000 uplink packets, giving a battery life of 2~10 years. When the batteries run out, the user can simply open the case and replace it with 2 standard AAA batteries.
The LWL02 sends data regularly every day and with every water leak event. It also counts the water leak times and calculates the duration of the last water leak. The user can also disable the uplink for each water leak event, instead the device can count each event and send the uplink periodically.
Each LWL02 is pre-installed with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration. Register these keys with the LoRaWAN server, and the device will automatically connect after power on.
