DRAGINO LLMS01-EU868 Leaf Moisture Sensor
Overview
The Dragino LLMS01 is a LoRaWAN leaf moisture sensor for IoT in agriculture. It is designed to measure leaf moisture and temperature and send it to the platform to analyze leaf status, such as: E.g.: irrigation, humidification, dew, frost. The probe is IP67 waterproof.
The LLMS01 measures leaf moisture and temperature using the FDR method. It records the dielectric constant caused by the liquid on the leaf surface and converts the value into leaf moisture. The probe is shaped like a leaf to best simulate the properties of a real leaf. The probe has a density of 15 leaf vein lines per centimeter, allowing it to capture small drops and greater accuracy.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the LLMS01 allows the device to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It offers spread spectrum communication with extremely long range and high interference immunity with minimal power consumption.
The LLMS01 is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery that is rated for long-term use of up to 5 years.
Each LLMS01 is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the connection is established automatically after power on.
