DRAGINO LoRaWAN LiDAR ToF Distance Detection Sensor
Overview
The Dragino LLDS12 is a LoRaWAN LiDAR ToF (Time of Flight) distance sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is able to measure the distance to an object up to 10 centimeters (+/- 5cm to 6m) and up to 12 meters (+/-1% from 6m). The LiDAR probe uses laser induction technology to measure distance. The LLDS12 can be used in scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, parking management system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, etc. It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor and transmits the value wirelessly to the LoRaWAN IoT server. The LoRa wireless technology used in the LLDS12 allows the device to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It offers spread spectrum communication with extremely long range and high interference immunity with minimal power consumption. The LLDS12 is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery that is rated for long-term use of up to 5 years. Each LLDS12 is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and a connection is automatically established after switching on.
