DRAGINO LDDS45-EU868 Distance Detection Sensor
Overview
The Dragino LDDS45 is a LoRaWAN distance sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is used to measure the distance between the sensor and a flat object. The distance detection sensor is a module that uses ultrasonic technology for distance measurement, and temperature compensation is carried out internally to improve the reliability of data. The LDDS45 can be used in scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, liquid level measurement, parking management system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent garbage can management system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, groundwater level monitoring, etc. It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor and transmits the value wirelessly to the LoRaWAN IoT server.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the LDDS45 allows the device to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It offers spread spectrum communication with extremely long range and high interference immunity with minimal power consumption. The LDDS45 is powered by an 8500 mA Li-SOCI2 battery, designed for long-term use of up to 10 years*. Each LDDS45 is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered with the local LoRaWAN server, and the LDDS45 automatically connects after power on if there is network coverage.
