Overview
The Dragino CPN01 is an NB-IoT dry contact sensor. It detects the open/close status and transmits the information to the IoT server via the NB-IoT network. The user can see the dry contact status, open time and number of opens on the IoT server.
The CPN01 sends data regularly every day and with every dry contact action. It also counts the contact opening times and calculates the last opening time. Users can also disable the uplink for each open/close event, instead the device can count each open event and send the uplink periodically.
CPN01 has an open alarm function that the user can set so that CPN01 sends an alarm when the contact has been open for more than a certain time.
CPN01 is designed for outdoor use. It has a weatherproof housing and an industrial-grade battery to operate in low to high temperatures.

CPN01 supports various uplink methods such as TCP, MQTT, UDP and CoAP for different application needs.
CPN01 is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, designed for long-term use of up to 5 years. (The actual battery life depends on the deployment environment, update period and uplink method)
To use CPN01, the user needs to check whether there is NB-IoT coverage in the area and with the Nb-IoT bands , which supports CPN01. If the local operator supports it, the user needs to obtain an NB-IoT SIM card from the operator and install it in CPN01 to get NB-IoT network connection.
