DRAGINO TrackerD Accessories: BLE iBeacon for Indoor Positioning
Overview
The BCN02 is a Bluetooth BLE iBeacon designed for indoor positioning. BCN02 is based on Diglog IC and supports the Bluetooth 5.1 protocol. BCN02 has low power consumption and a 1200mAh battery. With a transmission interval of 500ms, BCN02 can work for 4~5 years.
BCN02 is designed to be used together with Dragino TrackerD to provide a LoRaWAN indoor positioning solution. There are many BCN02s placed in different locations and broadcasting their UUID via Bluetooth. The user brings the TrackerD LoRaWAN BLE tracker, the TrackerD scans the UUID and chooses the UUID with the highest signal for uplink over LoRaWAN. This way the IoT server will know where the TrackerD is.
BCN02 is turned off when shipped by air. The user needs to twist it to open it and insert the power plug to turn it on.
