Further information for Doepke RI 230-001 - DOEP installation relay RI230 001
Installation relays are used to switch electrical consumers. They close the main circuit as long as the control voltage is present. The RI series is suitable for switching single-phase consumers up to 20 A. The compact devices can be operated by hand and have a clearly visible switch position indicator. They can be used for many switching and control applications. Properties: high flexibility through various contact configurations, manual operation for testing purposes, low switching noise and no humming noises, front-side switch position indicator via manual operation button, option of a visual display of the operating status via LED, switching contacts with safe separation AC1 according to EN 60947-4-1, duty cycle: 100% with spacer 0.5 TE, simple connection thanks to generously dimensioned, captive terminals, no plugging of the connecting wires behind the back possible, easy accessibility for connecting the coil supply, use of flame-retardant materials as well as chlorine- and halogen-free plastics, touch safety according to BGV A3, mounting type: quick fastening on mounting rail, any installation position with an inclination angle of max. 30 degrees, areas of application: the components offer universal application possibilities for control tasks in industrial and building technology as well as in domestic installations. They are particularly suitable for switching lighting systems, electric heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, fans, heat pumps and incandescent and gas discharge lamps. Notes: The designation of the devices in the RI series includes both the rated voltage (first pair of numbers) and the contact type (last pair of numbers), which are listed in the order of normally open, normally closed and changeover. For example, an 'RI 024-110' has a rated voltage of 24 V, one normally open and one normally closed contact, but no changeover contact. The duty cycle (ED) is max. 1 hour. To achieve 100% ED, the DHDS spacer must be used on both sides.
