The Modbus module with 6 analog inputs and 2 relay outputs was developed for decentralized switching tasks. Suitable for monitoring electrodes of leak sensors or the fill level of liquid containers and for switching pumps or solenoid valves. The relay contacts must be protected by suitable load-dependent measures. The resistance of the conductive liquid is measured when the electrodes are immersed in it. It is also possible to report a cable break (LKS-ZD sensor required). The device can be operated independently or via a Modbus master. The inputs and outputs can then be switched and queried via standard registers. The module address, bit rate and parity are set using two rotary switches on the front or via software.
