Insensitive to vibrations, bounce and wear-free due to the absence of mechanical components. When the operating voltage is applied to the delay circuit in series with the consumer, it is switched on after the delay time t, v has elapsed and is only blocked when the operating voltage is interrupted. The polarity of the voltage does not need to be taken into account. For the relay to function properly, the load current must be at least as large as the specified holding current.
