This converter transforms an HDMI® signal for output on two serial digital interface (SDI) devices, supporting 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI output through two coax BNC connectors. It provides purely digital, real-time conversion with no loss of video or audio quality. It can be combined with the VSC-SDI-HDMI converter to extend HDMI over coax and features a loop-out function, allowing video daisy-chaining via one of the coax connectors. Supporting 1080p HDMI video and Deep Color resolutions, it autodetects the SDI standard on its 75-ohm coax outputs.

It also features SDI loop-out via a second coax connector, enabling video display on two SDI monitors—one locally and one in another room—or to daisy-chain additional SDI equipment.

The HDMI to 3G-SDI/HD-SDI Converter supports up to eight audio channels, including 7.1 or 5.1 surround sound, alongside HDMI video. It is compatible with Dolby® TrueHD audio equipment and handles bit rates from 270 Mbps up to 2.97 Gbps for compatibility with both older and newer SDI standards.
