The Fibre Optic Power Meter and LED Source Kit enable precise measurement of power loss in fiber cable, connectors, attenuators, and other passive optical components. Calibrated at four wavelengths, the meter measures power levels from +20 dBm to -60 dBm, with true 0.01 dBm resolution across all levels, ensuring accuracy even below -45 dBm.

Featuring rapid response, it delivers near-instant readings at most levels. In relative mode, it stores zero reference readings for each wavelength independently in non-volatile memory, allowing the meter to be turned off between locations to conserve battery life. It also features a 1-dB analog deviation indicator and a real-time unaveraged mini-display for splice tuning.

The meter can store up to 999 test results per wavelength, which can then be uploaded to a PC. The LED source provides the temperature-stabilized light output required by the power meter, with output wavelengths of 850 nm and 1300 nm, which can be operated in CW, 30 Hz, 500 Hz, or 2 kHz modes.
