### Product Description

EtherLink IV delivers DSL Ethernet extension with high speeds and long-range capabilities, perfect for metro networks. Using G.SHDSL technology, this modem achieves 15 Mbps per copper pair over distances that traditional DSL modems cannot reach. With up to 8 wires, EtherLink IV supports data rates up to 60 Mbps over distances of up to 2,500 meters.

### Flexible Applications

EtherLink IV supports point-to-point connections as well as more complex point-to-multipoint and multidrop topologies. A 2-wire model can be used for simple routes, while the 4- and 8-wire versions are ideal for central sites connecting multiple locations.

While fiber offers high speeds, installation costs can be high. EtherLink IV utilizes readily available copper lines, saving installation expenses while providing sufficient bandwidth for broadband applications like VoIP, video-on-demand, and internet access.
