MiC PoE PD 10-100 Converter

The compact MiC PoE PD 10-100 media converter enables easy conversion of 10/100M copper signals to 100M fiber connections, powered directly over Ethernet. Ideal for use in areas without AC power, this converter draws its power via an Ethernet cable connected to a PoE-capable device, such as a PoE switch or mid-span hub, in compliance with the 802.3af standard.

With Link Fault Propagation (LFP), the MiC PoE PD 10-100 ensures connection integrity by immediately detecting faults and preventing data transmission over faulty links. Configuration is straightforward using DIP switches, while the media converter operates in full-duplex mode with 802.3x flow control or half-duplex with backpressure. This makes the converter an excellent choice for bridging long-distance Fast Ethernet fiber optic segments in networks.
