XS 1000 Media Converter

The XS 1000 Media Converter offers an economical solution for gigabit media conversion, converting 1000BASE-TX signals into 1000BASE-SX or 1000BASE-LX signals. Designed according to Gigabit Ethernet standards IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3z, this device provides seamless, lossless transmission from copper to fiber networks.

The XS 1000 Converter’s TP port supports full duplex, auto-MDI/MDI-X, and auto-negotiation, making installation flexible and straightforward. Available options include multimode SC, single-mode SC connections, or a flexible SFP slot that accommodates both single-mode and multimode SFP modules, allowing the device to be tailored to specific range requirements.

With a well-thought-out design and LED diagnostic indicators, the converter immediately shows connection status. The XS 1000 media converters can be used as standalone units or mounted via optional DIN rail or wall mounts (mounts sold separately). For larger applications, the units can be integrated into a 19-inch rack system accommodating up to 16 slots, with an option for redundant power to enhance stability and reliability.
