XS 1000 Media Converter

The XS 1000 Media Converter provides affordable gigabit media conversion, transforming a 1000BASE-TX signal into a 1000BASE-SX or 1000BASE-LX signal. Designed according to gigabit Ethernet standards IEEE 802.3u for 1000BASE-T and IEEE 802.3z for 1000BASE-SX/LX, this converter enables seamless copper-to-fiber networking. The TP port supports full duplex, auto-MDI/MDI-X, and auto-negotiation, offering flexibility in various network settings.

The converter is available with multimode SC, single-mode SC, or a versatile SFP slot. The SFP slot accepts both single-mode and multimode SFP modules, allowing users to configure the device for specific range needs. With XS Media Converters, setup is simple: plug in the RJ-45 cable, connect the fiber optic cable, and the connection is ready. The LED diagnostic indicators provide clear visibility into connection status.

XS 1000 Media Converters can be used standalone, mounted via DIN rail or wall, or integrated into a 16-slot, 19-inch rack for scalability, with an option for redundant power for added reliability. This converter supports data rates up to 2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode.
