The Pure Networking Series media converter offers fast and reliable conversion from 10/100BASE-TX copper to 100BASE-FX fiber connections. This device allows you to extend your LAN beyond the 100-meter copper cabling limit and provides enhanced security by bringing fiber directly to the desktop, protecting sensitive networks from eavesdropping and RFI interference. Fiber connections offer maximum security for sensitive data, making them ideal for high-security environments.

With support for data forwarding rates of 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps, the converter enables quick installation via plug-and-play technology. Integrated Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) notifies administrators immediately of any link issues, allowing for proactive network monitoring. Front-facing diagnostic LEDs provide operational status at a glance, and the converter supports both half- and full-duplex operation. Fully compatible with IEEE802.3 and IEEE802.3u standards, as well as flow control, this converter is suited for a variety of network applications.
