Compact Media Converters provide essential features for copper-to-fiber integration in a space-saving, 1U chassis. With an integral universal power supply that autosenses 95–240 VAC, these converters eliminate the need for bulky external adapters and support seamless international use. The 100 Mbps models support copper-to-fiber connections and offer multimode distances up to 2 kilometers (1300 nm) and up to 40 kilometers for Single-Mode Plus models.

Equipped with Auto-MDI/MDIX on each twisted-pair port, these compact media converters have externally accessible port settings and diagnostic LEDs for monitoring. LinkLoss and FiberAlert functions automatically notify users of fiber-side connection issues and can be enabled or disabled via a DIP switch. Operable in either half- or full-duplex mode, the converters fully comply with IEEE 802.3 standards, including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-FL, 10BASE2, 100BASE-TX, and 100BASE-FX.
