The Emerald® system delivers pixel-perfect video with 2K/HD to 4K/60 resolution and 10-bit color depth over an IP network. It is scalable and supports an unlimited number of workstations and servers. An Emerald KVM network can start small and expand infinitely by simply adding endpoints, without the need for additional chassis or cards.

Video Quality:

Emerald supports 4K DisplayPort video at 60 Hz with mathematically lossless compression over standard IP networks. It also supports HD content with Full HD DVI up to 1920x1200 on Emerald SE/ZeroU options.

Virtualization:

Emerald simplifies access to both physical and virtual servers, with support for VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, and other platforms via RDP, RemoteFX, PCoIP, and more.

Reliability:

All 4K Emerald transmitters and receivers offer copper or fiber connectivity with one or two SFP+ slots. The system ensures network redundancy with failover switching, guaranteeing 24/7 operation.

Network Requirements:

HD video requires a standard Gigabit Ethernet network. For 4K video, a 10-Gigabit Ethernet network with a 100-Gigabit aggregation switch is needed.

Management:

The system can be managed locally via the receiver’s OSD or centrally through the Boxilla® KVM Manager. Boxilla provides time-saving configuration options, user management, and security features like automatic alarms for unauthorized activities.
