This extender allows you to place a digital DVI screen up to 100 m* away from the video source and control it via RS-232 TXD and RXD control signals.

The transmitter-receiver combo extends HDTV resolutions and VESA standards over a single CAT5e/6/7 cable, making it easy to send 1080p-quality video, 2-channel stereo audio, and RS-232 control signals to distant screens or projectors.

Audio is integrated into the CATx cable extension, so no separate audio cable is needed between source and screen.

With bidirectional RS-232 control support, you can use serial commands from a PC to manage RS-232 equipment or turn a remote screen on/off, saving energy in your video setup.

The XR DVI-D Extender also supports EDID and HDCP bypass, enabling content transmission from protected-content sources.
