The Wizard SRX Extender – DVI, USB 2.0, Audio extends single or dual-link DVI-D, USB 2.0, and audio signals up to 50 meters over a single shielded CAT6/7 cable. Transmission is lossless and uncompressed, making it ideal for applications like image editing and simulations where zero latency is critical. Maximum resolution reaches 1080p or 1920x1200 for Single-Link DVI, and up to 2560x1600 for Dual-Link DVI across the full distance.

This extender offers full USB 2.0 support, including HID devices and storage media, with data transfer rates up to 12 Mbit/s. A 4-port USB hub on the receiver enables the connection of USB devices such as keyboards, mice, touchscreens, and tablets. The extender also supports both analog and digital audio, with the ability to transmit audio in CD-quality.

For easy setup and optimal image quality, the extender reads and stores EDID information from the connected monitor, allowing the graphics card to function as if directly connected. The Wizard SRX Extender is available in different models: either with one or two Single-Link DVI channels or a model with one Dual-Link DVI channel.

Additionally, the extender can be rack-mounted, fitting neatly into a 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) rack. Its compact design allows up to 16 single or eight dual-video units to fit into the ACU5000A housing. The transmitter can be powered through the PC interface or via an optional external power supply.
