The Axis CPNT 02282-001 is a 4K video decoder designed for displaying live videos in a sequence view as well as up to 16 video streams in a multiview layout. The device enables a cost-effective video surveillance solution, where the display of live video content can be achieved without the use of a PC. It is intended for use with monitors that support an HDMI connection, and can also be used for advertising or general information playback with or without audio. Installation is quick and straightforward, with power supply options including PoE (Power over Ethernet) or direct current.

Compatibility and Accessories

The device is compatible with network switches supporting PoE+ or PoE++, such as models T8516, D8208-R, T8504-E, T8508, T8504-R, D8248, or T8504. For power supply, external power modules such as the PSU PS-P T-C, PSU T8006 PS12 12 V DC, or the DIN power supply 24 V DC 100 W can be used. Additional mounting aids such as the DIN rail clip T91A03 or strain relief TD3901 are available to secure the device. For network connectivity, couplers or PoE midspan modules such as the 30W Midspan 240V AC or PoE Midspan AC/DC 30 W can also be used. Control elements such as the Control Board TU9001, joystick TU9002, or keypad TU9003 can be added for operation.

Mounting and Installation

Installation is performed over the network, with the device powered either via PoE or an external direct current supply. Mounting can be done on a DIN rail, for which the DIN rail clip T91A03 is suitable. Connection to the monitor is made via the HDMI port. Configuration of display options is done through the integrated Axis user interface.
