Outdoor

The AXIS M2036-LE is a network camera in bullet design, designed for outdoor use. With a resolution of Quad HD 1440p/4 MP, it provides clear and detailed video transmission suitable for surveillance tasks in demanding environments. The camera features a fixed lens with a focal length of 2.4 mm, enabling a constant field of view. The integrated infrared illumination ensures effective night vision, allowing the camera to operate reliably even in darkness or poor lighting conditions. PoE support (Power over Ethernet) simplifies installation, as power and data are transmitted over a single network cable. The camera is designed for outdoor use and thus offers protection against weather influences.

Applications
The AXIS M2036-LE is suitable for surveillance systems in outdoor areas, such as buildings, driveways, parking lots, or industrial facilities. The camera is particularly suitable for users requiring a reliable, compact, and lightweight solution for video surveillance without compromising on features such as intelligent analysis.

Functions and Equipment in Detail
The camera features a Deep Learning Processing Unit, enabling intelligent analyses to be performed directly on the device (edge computing). The AXIS Object Analytics function detects and classifies objects such as people, vehicles, and vehicle types, making video surveillance more efficient. The AXIS Edge Vault protects the device ID and simplifies authorization of AXIS devices on the network. The Edge-to-Edge technology enables intelligent connection with AXIS speakers, allowing warnings or announcements to be triggered as soon as a specific event is detected.

Technology Explained Simply
The camera uses Zipstream technology, which optimizes video transmission by reducing redundant data. This leads to more efficient bandwidth usage and enables higher image quality with lower data traffic. Support for H.264 and H.265 encoding formats ensures compact file sizes and efficient storage. The encapsulated backbox provides space for secure cabling and protects connection cables from external influences.

Compatibility and Accessories
The AXIS M2036-LE can be combined with various accessories to optimize installation and use. These include, for example, mounting brackets such as the Pendant Kit T94B02D, the Recessed Mount T94B03L, or the Conduit Back Box T94B01P. For PoE power supply, PoE midspans such as the T8120 or TU8006 can be used. Additionally, surge protector devices such as the TU8001 or T8061 are available to protect the camera from overvoltage. For cabling, couplings and seals are available, making outdoor installation safer.

Installation and Mounting
The camera is compact and lightweight, simplifying installation. The integrated PoE function reduces the number of required cables, as power and data are transmitted over a single network cable. Mounting is done using the provided brackets, which can be attached to walls, ceilings, or other structures depending on the application. The encapsulated backbox ensures proper and secure cabling.

Operational Advantages
The camera offers high reliability in outdoor environments, supported by IK08 certification and integrated IR illumination. Deep Learning functions enable intelligent video analysis, making surveillance more efficient. PoE support reduces installation costs and simplifies network infrastructure. The combination of compact design and powerful features makes the AXIS M2036-LE a practical solution for professional surveillance systems.
