The ATEN CL3884NW LCD KVM Switch offers a space-saving, slim approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, 18.5-inch LCD monitor with LED backlight and touchpad in a rack-mountable 1U sliding housing. Thanks to the dual rail design, the LCD monitor, keyboard and touchpad can be operated independently. To make the most of the space, the keyboard and touchpad modules can be pushed back when not in use, while the LCD monitor can be rotated back flush with the rack for convenient monitoring of computer activities.
The CL3884NW provides two console outputs, guaranteeing the user real-time monitoring capabilities. The user can control both outputs to display the following display modes: Quad view, Picture in picture (PiP), Picture by picture (PbP) and Picture on Picture (PoP). The display modes have various layout options, allowing the user to customize the sources displayed. With the ability to cascade up to 2 levels, the CL3884NW can display up to 16 video sources simultaneously and control them with independent keyboard and mouse. The
CL3884NW's Boundless Switching feature allows users to switch control to another computer by simply moving the mouse cursor across one screen edge to the target computer's screen without any restrictions. With ATEN's patented technology - Video DynaSync, users can enjoy better screen resolutions and faster switching between systems. In addition, EDID modes are available for smooth power-on and high-quality display, eliminating monitor compatibility issues.
For added convenience, users can manage the computer from an external console. The CL3884NW features a USB peripheral port on the front of the unit, external KVM console ports (USB keyboard/mouse and HDMI monitor) on the rear, and audio ports for connecting audio speakers.
