APC Metered by Outlet with Switched Rack PDUs provide comprehensive, user-customizable control of power distribution with individually switchable outlets and power metering. Individual outlets can be remotely turned on and off to restart systems or prevent unauthorized use of outlets. Delayed power-on sequences can be used to specify the switching sequence of connected systems. Load shedding prioritization can be used to optimize circuit overloads and the power-on and resilience of critical systems. Metering functions enable real-time remote monitoring of connected loads. Switched Rack PDUs feature real-time power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, and lockable IEC ports. User-definable alarms warn of potential overloads before failures occur. Switched Rack PDUs are configured and controlled via web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces. Integration with APC Centralized Management Platforms is also possible, such as: E.g. in InfraStruxure Central, Capacity Manager and Change Manager.
