The ALL-SG8628PM-10G provides a comprehensive access control list (ACL) to enforce security at the network edge. It can be used to restrict network access by blocking packets based on source and destination IP addresses , TCP/UDP port numbers or defined typical network applications are rejected. The protection mechanism also includes 802.1x port-based and MAC-based user and device authentication. With the private VLAN function, communication between edge ports can be prevented to protect user privacy.

The ALL-SG8628PM-10G supports SNMP and can be managed via any management software based on the standard SNMP v1 or v2 protocol.
