The coupling was specifically developed for use in the hospitality sector and IT system houses, where high mechanical stress can occur due to carelessness or accidental pulling on cables. The release force of the coupling is below the standard requirements for RJ45 connectors according to IEC 60603-7, ensuring the connection always breaks before mechanical damage to the device occurs. Unintentional disengagement of the magnetic connection is not possible, as the magnetic fixation remains stable as long as no critical pulling force is applied.

The safety coupling is suitable for all applications where network cables are connected to sensitive devices, such as switches, routers, PoE end devices, or servers. The delivery includes a 2-piece release plug set in ABS housing, a patch cable RJ45 CAT6 with 250 MHz bandwidth, 0.15 m length, white, UTP (U/UTP), Synergy 21, as well as a function test report created using a Cable-Eye measuring device.
