Enabling devices are used for troubleshooting, programming and checking when no other accident prevention devices are possible or suitable. The enabling device is held in the hand and in a panic situation the operator can either press the enabling button more firmly or release it completely to stop the machine. An enabling device is a hand-operated start and stop switch that initiates operation and maintains it as long as it is operated. There are suitable pre-assembled cables for the enabling devices.
