ABB's connection/junction boxes are made from a two-component system. They have ten membrane cable entries on the side that are easy to pierce and two more on the underside for cables up to 17 mm thick. The membrane reliably seals the cable entries. The boxes are securely closed with a snap-in lid. To open them, a screwdriver is inserted into the opening slots. Screws are not required. The installation temperature is -15 to +60 °C. Advantages: 12 self-sealing cable entries, extremely stable housing (PP), permanently elastic membrane entry (SEBS), optimal price/performance ratio, largest possible connection space, protection class IP55, certified according to EN60670-21:2007 and EN60670-22:2006, UV-resistant and halogen-free, glow wire test according to IEC 659-2-11.
