ABB's connection/junction boxes are made from a two-component system. They have ten membrane cable entries on the side that are easy to pierce and two more on the underside for cables up to 17 mm thick. The membrane reliably seals the cable entries. The boxes are securely closed with a snap-in lid. To open them, a screwdriver is inserted into the opening slots. Screws are not required. The installation temperature is -15 to +60 °C.
