Residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) offer personal and material protection as well as
protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. The residual current circuit breakers of the F200 B series ensure protection against sinusoidal alternating currents, pulsating currents and smooth DC residual currents to earth. As well as fault protection (protection against indirect contact), additional protection (with I¿n = 30 mA) and fire protection (with I¿n = 300 mA). They meet the product standards for type A IEC/EN 61008-1, 61008-2-1, 61543 (VDE 0664 10, 11, 30) and type B DIN EN 62423 (VDE 0664-40).

The RCCB type B is suitable for non-linear circuits that can generate fault currents with smooth DC fault currents and with a wide variety of (high/) frequencies. These components are found in electronic equipment such as frequency converters. The RCCB type B has a frequency range of 0...2 kHz for detecting the fault current and offers high system availability.
