F200 Type B for smooth DC residual currents and operational safety

Residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) offer personal and material protection as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. The residual current circuit breakers of the F200 B series ensure protection against sinusoidal alternating currents, pulsating currents and smooth DC residual currents to earth. As well as fault protection (protection against indirect contact), additional protection (with I¿n = 30 mA) and fire protection (with I¿n = 300 mA). They meet the product standards for type A IEC/EN 61008-1, 61008-2-1, 61543 (VDE 0664 10, 11, 30) and type B DIN EN 62423 (VDE 0664-40).

The RCCB type B is suitable for non-linear circuits that can generate fault currents with smooth DC fault currents and with a wide variety of (high/) frequencies. These components are found in electronic equipment such as frequency converters. The RCCB type B has a frequency range of 0...2 kHz for detecting the fault current and offers high system availability.
