For remote tripping (switching off) of the circuit breaker, with self-interruption within 10 ms. Suitable for circuit breakers of the S200 series, FI/LS combinations DS200 (DDA200 + S200) and load break switches of the SD200 series.
The shunt release has a relay coil with an integrated contact that separates the coil from the actuating voltage after the circuit breaker has been tripped, for example. Therefore, no further current flows even if the actuating voltage is constantly applied.
