The CMS current sensors are part of the ABB energy monitoring InSite with the control units SCU100 and SCU200. The sensors measure TRMS, AC and DC currents (instantaneous, min/max and hold values) and transmit these values to the InSite control unit via a 4-pin ribbon cable.
The universally applicable sensors for cable mounting can be attached with cable ties and enable installation regardless of the make of the protective or switching device in the final circuit. The closed solid-core sensors have a high measurement accuracy of 0.5% and are less sensitive to EMC effects from adjacent final circuits.
