Das AFC30-30-00-84 ist ein 3-poliges - 690 V IEC oder 600 V UL Schütz mit Schraubklemmen, hauptsächlich zur Steuerung von Stromkreisen bis zu 15kW / 400 V AC (AC-3) oder 20 hp / 480 V AC UL und 50 A (AC-1) oder 50 A UL ,General Use'. Innerhalb der AF-Plattform bieten die AFC-Schütze eine optimierte Betriebszeit für AC-gesteuerte Anwendungen mit elektromagnetischer Spule (Steuerspannung: 110V AC 50Hz / 110.120V AC 60Hz). AFC-Schütze sind in Blockbauweise ausgeführt und können mit zusätzlichen Hilfskontaktblöcken und einer breiten Palette von zusätzlichem Zubehör leicht erweitert werden. Alle zusätzlich angebauten Hilfsöffnerkontakte sind als Spiegelkontakte nach IEC60947-4-1 Anhang F ausgeführt.
