Electromechanical motor protection devices TF140DU offer thermal protection of the connected motors for currents up to 142 A, in accordance with IEC/EN 60947-1, IEC/EN 60947-4-1 or IEC/EN 60947-5-1.
TF140DU are attached to contactors AF116-AF140, but can also be mounted separately on a mounting plate.
If the motor current set on the current scale is exceeded, the relays are triggered via bimetal elements and thus change the switching position of the two auxiliary contacts 1S/1NC. An upstream contactor can be switched off in this way. The relays are suitable for both single-phase and three-phase applications. They allow manual or automatic resetting, have a test and stop function and a tripped display. An add-on reset button allows operation without opening the control cabinet.
TF140DU have a tripping class of 10A, are temperature compensated and sensitive to phase failure.
