Further information for ABB TA200DU-135-V1000 - overload relay 100 135A thermal trip class 10A
Thermal overload relays TA200DU offer reliable protection of the connected motors for currents up to 200 A, in accordance with IEC/EN 60947-1, IEC/EN 60947-4-1 or IEC/EN 60947-5-1.
TA200DU are mounted directly on contactors AF190-AF205, but can also be mounted separately on a mounting plate.
Thermal overload relays are three-pole and are triggered via bimetal elements. The motor current flows through the bimetal elements and heats them both directly and indirectly. If an overload (overcurrent) occurs, the bimetal elements deform due to the heat generated. This triggers the relay and the switching positions of the contacts change (95-96/97-98).
This can switch off an upstream contactor. The relays allow manual or automatic resetting, they have a test and stop function and a triggered display. An add-on reset button allows operation without opening the control cabinet.
TA200DU have tripping class 10A, are temperature compensated, sensitive to phase failure and have ATEX approval.
