The 2N EntryCom IP Security Relay is an electronic unit that is installed in a protected interior area and connected to the 2N EntryCom IP door intercom via 2 wires. The maximum cable length is 10 meters; control and power supply are also carried out via the 2N EntryCom IP door intercom. If the 2N EntryCom IP receives the command to open the door, either via the DTMF entry of the door opener code during a conversation, via an http request or code entry via the keyboard, a coded digital message is sent to the security relay via the two-wire connection and the door opener contact is triggered. Manipulation through a short circuit or an external voltage source is therefore impossible
