With the fi xLink® Extender, cables can
be extended without much effort. Furthermore, decommissioned
lines can be reactivated and
extended to the next required connection. This makes optimal use
of the limited space in the cable duct . The installer simply screws the extender into the duct or onto the wall at the end of the installed line. Once installed, the extended cable can be used up to the maximum link length for 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmissions and supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet).
