SR3D Safety Relay – Versatile Use for Combustion Plants and Maritime Applications

The SR3D is a universally applicable safety relay with three secure relay outputs. It is specially designed for continuous operation in combustion plants in accordance with the EN 50156-1 standard. Certified by Germanischer Lloyd (GL) under certification number 32915-06HH, it is also approved for maritime applications, making it an ideal choice for waste incineration plants on ships, where it has proven its reliability over the years.

The SR3D offers a wide range of safety functions, including emergency stop monitoring, sliding protective door monitoring, light curtain monitoring, and safe coupling relay functionality. It ensures maximum operational safety and complies with all relevant safety standards such as EN 60204-1, DIN EN ISO 13849-1, EN 62061, EN 50156-1, EN 746-2, IEC 61508, and IEC 61511-1.

With a compact width of only 22.5 mm, the SR3D allows for space-saving installation in control cabinets. It features three immediate safety contacts, one signal output, and supports both automatic and manual, monitored start. The flexible power supply (AC/DC 24 V, AC 115 V, or AC 230 V) and multiple connection options – fixed screw terminals, plug-in screw terminals, or push-in spring terminals in TWIN design – make it an adaptable solution for a variety of applications.

With a maximum switching capacity of 8 A at 250 VAC (resistive load) and safety certifications up to PL e, Category 4, and SILCL 3, the SR3D offers an extremely high level of safety for industrial and marine applications.
