The SCB-02: Universal Safety Timer with 2 Relay Contacts

The SCB-02 is a compact, secure timer that can be used for a variety of safety monitoring applications in machines and systems. With its 2 secure relay contacts, it enables the reliable and tamper-proof shutdown of systems in hazardous situations. The timer is ideal for monitoring emergency stops, sliding guard doors, light grids, interlocks, and combustion plants in continuous operation. Additionally, the SCB-02 supports both stop category 0 and stop category 1.

The configuration of the secure outputs is done directly on the device using a user-friendly push/rotary button. With the integrated display, the time can be set precisely and tamper-proof. The outputs can be switched with on-delay, off-delay, or without delay, depending on the configuration (programs Pr 00 - Pr 02). Thanks to this flexibility, the SCB-02 offers a modern alternative to conventional pneumatic time relays.

Installation of the SCB-02 is simple and efficient. The device is available with either plug-in screw terminals or a push-in spring connection (TWIN version), making wiring significantly easier.
