ZANDER SR3D: Universal Safety Control Unit with 3 Safe Relay Outputs

The ZANDER SR3D is a versatile safety control unit designed to safely stop moving machine parts in hazardous situations. It features three safe, redundant, and diverse relay outputs, as well as an additional signaling contact for status indication. The SR3D supports the connection of emergency stop buttons, safety switches, contactless safety switches, and safety components with OSSD outputs, offering maximum application flexibility.

This safety control unit is specifically designed for use in continuous operation at firing systems (EN 50156-1, EN 746-2) and on ships, certified by TÜV Rheinland and Germanischer Lloyd. It meets the highest safety requirements up to PL e / SIL 3 according to EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508.

Safety Features
When the emergency stop circuit is closed (e.g., when a safety door is closed), the SR3D releases the machine. When the safety function is activated (e.g., when the door is opened), the device immediately opens the release circuits, safely shutting down the machine. The forced-guided relays and cyclical self-monitoring ensure that even a single internal fault does not compromise the safety function.
