ZANDER Pull-Wire Switches, Tear-Wire Switches, and Emergency Stop Cables: Efficient Safety Solutions for Industrial Applications
In industrial environments where the use of protective doors or traditional emergency stop buttons is not possible, ZANDER’s pull-wire switches, tear-wire switches, and emergency stop cables provide an effective solution for safeguarding large hazardous areas. These systems enable comprehensive protection for conveyor belts, production islands, and machine installations.
How Pull-Wire and Tear-Wire Switches Work
The emergency stop cable is attached along the secured area and connected to a pull-wire switch. In the event of an emergency, pulling the cable from any point instantly stops the machine. Tear-wire switches offer additional safety by automatically stopping the machine if the cable breaks or becomes slack. The safety state remains locked until the cable is re-tensioned and the reset button is manually pressed.
