ZANDER Pull-Wire Switches, Tear-Wire Switches, and Emergency Stop Cables: Effective Safety Solutions for Industrial Applications
ZANDER’s pull-wire switches, tear-wire switches, and emergency stop cables provide reliable solutions to secure large hazardous areas. They are ideal for conveyor belts, large production islands, and machine areas where conventional emergency stop buttons cannot be used.
How Pull-Wire and Tear-Wire Switches Work
The emergency stop cable is attached to the pull-wire switch and stretched along the secured area. In an emergency, pulling the cable at any point triggers an immediate stop. Tear-wire switches also react automatically to cable breakage or slack. After triggering, the system remains locked until the cable is re-tensioned and the reset button is pressed.
